As Tech Shapes Future, Employers Want Soft Skills

May 18, 2018 by Karen Grossman |

While technology skills are certainly helpful in today’s changing workplace, studies find that employers are looking for employees with soft skills, according to an article by Jeffrey J. Selingo in The Washington Post.

Being able to communicate will make you a hot commodity in today’s job market. Employers most want you to be able to get along with others, work with teams, and be able to deal with uncertainty.

Where can you learn these skills? UNC Greensboro’s online Bachelor of Science in Integrated Professional Studies (BIPS) teaches skills that will help you in any career. Through real-world projects, you’ll learn how to think critically, interpret data, work with others to solve problems, and make informed decisions.
