More Choices for Online Students

While we’ve offered bachelor’s programs online since 2004, you previously needed some transfer credits to enroll. Now you don’t!

Whether you’re about to graduate high school or you work full-time and need to finish your degree, you can.

“Students are able to engage with one institution from start to finish,” says Trina Gabriel, Assistant Director, Student Success (UNCG Online). “They make connections at the outset that they continue to develop through their entire academic career.”

From the beginning, you know the institutions’ expectations, and you don’t have to think about what transfers, she says.

Find a Program That Fits Your Goals

Nearly 6,000 students take some online classes at UNCG, and 2,500 take all of their courses online.

If you want to earn your bachelor’s online, from business to philosophy, you’ll find a program that’s right for you.

Choose from these programs:

Three additional bachelor’s programs are available online to students with some credits. The BA in Peace and Conflict Studies, BS in Human Development and Family Studies, and the BS in Public Health require a minimum number of transferable college credits to enroll. UNCG offers more than 40 online programs in all, including graduate degrees and certificates.

What’s Required for Admission

To enroll in an online bachelor’s program, all students are required to meet UNC System minimum high school course requirements.

In addition, there are different guidelines depending on whether you are currently in high school; have a high school diploma, GED, or have never been to college; or have some transferable college credits.
